fred jackson vs marion barber..HELP!

Postby mighty leonidas » Thu Sep 23, 2010 11:55 am

Fred Jackson is looking to be the best out of the three for the bills but they are at new england and despite cj spiller performance and lack of play time, they said that he would see more, which could mean less chances for Fred jackson. Fred Jackson had 9 points last game with 11 touches.

Marion Barber has not looked stellar in the past 2 weeks, mostly thanks to dallas offensive line. Plus with dallas going up agianst houston, the ball will more likely be thrown more, and with houstons run defense I just dont see marion barber doing more then 2 pts, 8 pts if he runs in a 2yd touchdown on sunday unless the dallas offensive line does a 180.

In case your wondering I have cedric benson starting. But I also have beanie wells and he still looks injured so he won't be start worthy I believe this week unless something changes.

Your thoughts please

Yuck! Id go with Jackson, but with tempered expectations. They were working Lynch into the mix more last week, maybe to show him off for trades? Dallas run game is non-existent at this point.

Help?

I'll play devil's advocate here...I think Dallas will run a lot more this week. However, opportunities does not necessarily equal success.

I'd start Jackson until Garrett proves he's committed to the RBs.

yuck is correct my good sir. I was leaning to think fred jackson myself this week. I had hope dallas's o-line wouldn't be struggling this bad now that they got some starters back. Still fred on 11 carries equalled 9 pts last week, barber had 8 carries for 2 pts last week. Did I mention I started barber over jackson last week and lost by 4?" Yuck" was an understatement in week 2. I just don't want that feeling agian. Thanks for the advice.

Go with Barber! Houston gave up two 1 yard touchdowns last week and Dallas gives Barber the goal line looks. Also, Barber's playing his brother this week and will be motivated to have a good showing.

Have to say I agree with Jackson as your pick.
