Who will have the big game??? WHIR

Postby copycat_pg » Thu Sep 23, 2010 3:03 pm

I have to start 2 recievers plus a flex. I am thinking about going straight match up play: Murphy, Floyd, Jones. But it is all a gamble. Who will score the TD / have the big game?

Pick three starters:

Malcom Floyd @ Seattle
Johnny Knox v GB
Jacoby Jones v Dallas
Louis Murpy @ AZ
Sims-Walker vs Philly

Thomas Jones v San Fran

For your first two choices I would go with M. Sims-Walker and J. Knox without a doubt. M. Sims-Walker is the only true threat in Jacksonville and should receive significant targets. J. Cutler will air the ball out significantly against Green Bay, so J. Knox should get plenty of targets as well. For your final option, I give the slight edge to T. Jones. I think he has the most potential for touches out of your remaining options, making him the safer play.

I like Murphy more than Jones because SF has shut down the run this year and I could see maybe Jamaal Charles doing something on the outside, but Jones is an inside runner.

Yeah i understand but can you really tell someone to start a WR4 over a starting RB? Thats what telling someone to start Murphy over Jones is. You cant start Murphy over Jones i dont care if they were playing the all pro team.
