I'm rolling into Week 3 with the following guys starting (Standard Scoring, no PPR):
QB: Aaron Rodgers (Rivalry game against CHI DEF) RB: Cedric Benson (Possible cupcake game against CAR) RB: Peyton Hillis (Facing a BAL DEF that hasn't given up a RB TD) WR: Wes Welker (BUF DEF, no brainer) WR: Mark Clayton (WAS DEF, but DEF did face stout PASS O) TE: Marcedes Lewis (Getting hot and facing underperforming PHI DEF) W/R: Louis Murphy (With QB Gradkowski getting the start, looks good) K: Sebastian Janikowski D: Pittsburgh Steelers
So that leaves these guys riding the pine this week: QB: Donovan McNabb (Putting up monster PASS YRDs and facing STL DEF) RB: Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams (NYJ DEF, would be a gamble...but more so than Hillis?) WR: Marques Colston, Pierre Garcon*, Johnny Knox (Should I ever sit Colston? Cutler has looked good too, so Knox?) TE: Zach Miller (I like him more with QB Campbell)
* Pierre Garcon may be out the door for another underachiever, Shonn Greene.
Pick it apart and let me know what you would do. Thanks!
I like some of it.. sitting ronnie brown cuz hillis snakes goalline touches seems a bit crazy to me though. I'd also possibly go with Colston over Murphy, but thats almost a toss up. Colston has to deal with an offense that spreads the ball around quite a bit, but he does seem to be a primary target.
I love the fact that you are trying to be creative with the lineup but i think it may be trying to get too cute....im with the crowd.....go with your top guys and let them do their thing!
