Favre or Eli Manning Week 3???

Postby ajmetallica » Fri Sep 24, 2010 1:08 pm

Which one would you start?

Favre vs. DET (with depleted WR core)

or

Eli Manning vs. TEN (tough Pass D.)

Thanks

This is the Matchup that Farve needs to get back on track. He will exploit Det. in the biggest way. Percy is cleared and Berrian has been spoken to (so I've heard) so I would go with Farve. I own Eli and I benched him this week in favor of McNabb so I think the matchup warrants a Farve start.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but go with Favre. It's make it or break it time for Favre's ENTIRE season this week. If he goes out there and get's punched in the mouth again, you should look to trade him for anything you can sucker someone for, because I'm betting he'll quit on the team if the post season becomes unattainable.

If Favre is going to produce, now's the time.

I agree, you gotta figure Favre will bounce back against Detroit, right??? For his sake, I hope he does and I think he knows he has to, so roll with Father Time.

Good luck

Favre is 18-0 at home against the Lions in his career. I would be all over that if I was you.

I would give the slight edge to B. Favre based on his extremely favorable match up. If he doesn't pick it up this week, Minnesota is done.
