Flacco or Cutler? WHIR

Postby CrimeDog7 » Fri Sep 24, 2010 7:40 pm

I'm on the fence. Flacco has the better matchup. Cutler has the hot hand. Who to go with?

Flacco - He's due and at home. Kind of scared they'll run the ball alot in the second half eating up clock.

Cutler - God that offense looks good. Is run a term in Martz's offense. Even facing a decent defense I'm definately leaning towards him. Also I get -2 for picks. Is Harris and Bigby still out. What do you guys think?

As tempting as Flacco is, I'd stick with the hot hand and start Cutler until he makes me sit him.

Good luck

I'd sit Flacco UNTIL he performs at a level worthy of a start --- Cutler APPEARS to be thriving in Martz's new system, and has been lights out so far, even limiting his INTs ( I know, it's only week #3 lol)... Flacco has Mason, Boldin, heap, and RRice, that's true, and he COULD break out of his INT-laden funk this week, but Cutler should do fine @ home on MNF vs a hated rival, the Packers...

I would have to go with J. Cutler. I believe Chicago will be airing it out and J. Cutler has much more potential for production.

I'd stick with Cutler. Ahead or behind in the game, Cutler will be passing. Good luck!

Help me out:

Even though he can be a turnover machine, Cutler is a much safer play. Martz calling plays against a team that might score 30+. This should be a shootout. Unless Cutler has a 4+ turnover game, his yards and scores should atone for a pick or two.

Flacco needs to show some consistency. Believe it or not, the Browns defense hasn't been that bad, even though they have played horrific offensive opponents (TB & KC).
