flex spot and WR

Postby brs768 » Sat Sep 25, 2010 8:09 am

I have a flex and a WR slot to fill, who out of these should I play

LT @ Miami
Mark Clayton vs Washington
Percy Harvin vs Detrioit
Demaryus Thomas vs Indy
Hakeem Knicks ws Tennessee
Thomas Jones vs San Francisco

I'm leanin towards Mark Clayton and Percy Harvin cause they are playin some pretty bad pass defenses.

But Harvin has yet to do anything this year, and who knowif Clayton will have a good week.

I would go with H. Nicks and P. Harvin. H. Nicks is definitely the most talented receiver out of the group, and should receive a significant amount of targets from E. Manning on a strong offense. I would go with P. Harvin because Minnesota has an extremely favorable match up, and if Favre can't get it done this week, Minnesota is doomed.

I go Thomas and Thomas... Damariyus, TJones and Tomlinson all looked much better last week.

And the other thomas only had one good week.

Any other comments? I'm still pretty unsure...

Harvin and T Jones for me. You have to play Harvin against the Lions. You just have to. After that I would want to start the starting RB over the Wr's you have.

That's an interesting set of choices. It's possible you get burned, but I can't see how you can get away from starting Harvin against the Lions. Matchup just too tasty to pass up. I'd flip a coin between Jones and D Thomas for the other spot. Jones gets the goal line work, even if they have no idea how they're splitting carries from week to week. I have a hunch the Niners are going to see more of Jamaal Charles than they'd like to, but it's just a hunch. D Thomas is up against a pretty good pass defense in Indy, but volume of throws from the Broncos today might make up for it. I don't like LT against a decent Miami defense, and Nicks is going to have his hands full with Finnegan, though I still am not as big a believer in the Titans secondary as some here.

Harvin and Thomas would be my starters. Good luck!

Yeah, this is a cruddy situation!

Is it PPR?

If it is then Clayton/Thomas (both will get catches)

If not, I would go Thomas/Harvin or Nicks....I would probably go Harvin because Nicks is hampered with a nagging injury.

Thanks for help on mine!

I'd start Harvin and D. Thomas who may see lots of targets as they should fall behind Indy. LT may be viable as if memory serves me right, Miami gave up a lot of yards against the run last week. Clayton could have a decent game but I think they'll rely on S-Jax as usual. I don't like T. Jones against SF D. I think Cortland Finnegan will be on Nicks.

Its not ppr.

So I'm definitely goin with Harvin.

I might just go see what games are on and play whoever I can watch for the second spot.

I simply can't decide, its nuts.
