In a .5 PPR league with normal scoring otherwise, which pair would you rather have? Assuming all other spots of the roster are the same in combination with these 2 (hopefully, that makes sense).
Which tandem would you want:
A) Roddy/Crabtree
B) Jennings/Wallace
A couple of thoughts:
1) I think Crabtree is bad to the point of barely being a WR3. I could be wrong obviously.
2) I know there are people who think as soon as Ben gets back, Wallace becomes an instant star. I'm not sure that's true, I could be wrong.
3) I like the consistency of Roddy. He will always get his targets no matter what. Jennings is the best WR on a team who throws it around to lots of folks. Sort of like Colston.
Leave a linl
12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green, TE: Hernandez, Cook
I would go with Jennings/Wallace. I think Jennings is the best WR of that bunch, with just a slight edge on White. Bus also, I think Wallace has much better potential for this season than Crabtree. Alex Smith kinda sucks.
This decision is really a toss-up; you have 2 second-tier WRs and 2 fifth-tier WRs matched up. I would probably decide based on the Jennings/White matchup, and go with whoever you think will have a better season.
I see no reason to favor either side of this deal. It looks to be more ofa trade jsut to trade. I trust Roddy way more than Jennings who disappeared a bit last year. Wallace could be a stud, but you hve to be concerned that other young WR around him and Hines and Miller. Too many targets there. Even with Washington and Holmes gone.
It's not a trade for these guys only. Others are involved, but these are the choices I have (making a major bump in RB). In other words, I just need to decide which pair is better.

Even though I am a Packer fan, I would go with Roddy and Crabtree. I think this combo has the better upside. Crabtree is buy low right now. I love Rodgers but the thing with having a WR on the Pack, is Rodgers spreads the ball around so much, so its anyones guess to see if Jennings will produce or if Driver, Finley, or even James Jones gets more looks in any given week. I'd go with Roddy and Crabtree. Good luck and please help me:
Thanks for the help on mine. I too think my league members are acting like little girls!
I would prefer Roddy/Crabtree.
I think Roddy will finish the year #3 overall WR behind AJ and M. Austin in PPR leagues.
When comparing 2 WR's vs 2 other WR's, I would put a much bigger emphasis on the #1 guy than the 2nd guy involved. I would take Wallace over Crabtree. Roddy>Jennings Wallace>Crabtree, so I would side Roddy. Now, if you need to starters at WR, maybe I would take the Jennings side. Without knowing your roster though, I would have to say Roddy/Crabtree.
Interesting.. order of receivers I would want individually.. Roddy, Jennings, Wallace, Crabtree. I'm looking forward to the return of Roethlisberger because I really think Wallace is going to do big things. I see Roddy staying really consistent this year and have wished I owned him in my leagues. You won't get the same consistency from Jennings as much as they spread the ball, but he will have good games. I've got no idea what to think about Crabtree.. I was big on him before the season started, but now, who knows. Heads or tails imo. Jennings/Wallace will be more of a gamble and just having Roddy alone will give you some consistency. With all that being said.. I don't think you can go wrong either way. I'd go with Jennings/Wallace myself because I've got no faith in Alex Smith and I'm excited about Mike Wallace.
