Wk 3 RB: T. Jones or B. Jackson

Postby DefenseFirst » Sat Sep 25, 2010 6:57 pm

Im in a PPR league and cant decide:

Thomas Jones - looks to be getting more touches and is used around the goal line

Brandon Jackson - Is in a strong offense and has pass catching ability

Who should i go with?

Thanks,

DF

Good luck

Hello,

I would go with Brandon Jackson.

Brandon Jackson is the top RB for the Packers now, where LT stll splits carries with his supposed #1 Greene.

Brandon Jackson scored last game, go with him

I'm going to go against the grain here ... and tell you to start Thomas Jones. Haley has asserted that he's their go-to guy, and that he trusts him the most on the goal line.

The Jets have a softer matchup, vs a 49ers D that couldn't even stop Seattle's offense. The Eagles will face the Bears in a gridiron divisional mnf matchup (where the majority of the points will probably be set up by special teams play and defense).

Jackson looked terrible in his 'tryout' to be the Pack's feature back. I expect them to get more bodies in there to share the load.

On the contrary to what the previous poster said, the 49ers have a great run defense. Thomas, who plays for the Chiefs, will have no where to go against Patrick Willis. Start Jackson.
