Trade for Gates

Hey guys,

My team is really good in a 12-team league. I have a good QB, 3 top WR, excelents RB and a DECENT TE. But I want to improve my TE slot. Here is the deal. I want Antonio Gates, and the guy that own him needs RB and WR. Plus, he has a good backup TE in Cooley. I was thinking in a trade involving S. Smith (CAR), because I don't trust Clausen and he could impress him and force him to trade Gates.
