ok. So, in my league, "Big Ben" Roethlisberger is currently a free agent.

and for obvious reasons.

But since we are nearing the end of his suspension, and I have a bye week down the road,

I was wondering if anyone has an initial opinion on whether Roethlisberger will be of any value for the rest of the season.

Charlie Batch did well this week I think, and given Pittsburg's uneasiness at Ben's reputation, I don't know what his future might look like.

Roethlisberger will be the starter the moment he comes back, and should be on your roster at least as your backup QB. The Steelers are really good this year, and will be even better with Big Ben. No way will the Steelers decide to keep Ben on the bench. Suspension is served, debt repaid, all is forgiven.

RB: All Day AP, CJ2K, F.Jax, R.Brown, S. Greene, Dixon

Couldn't have said it better myself. Grab Ben if you can.

batch went 5/11 last week and had 2 fumbles (didn't lose either tho).

one of his TD this week should have been an easy INT in the endzone because he underthrew it. he also threw 2 INT.

Big Ben will be shoved into the starting spot so fast it's not even funny. He's a must grab for your backup, if not future starter.

I would 100% add Ben to my team if I were you. I picked him up after week 1 after I saw what Flacco was doing for me. lol He should be a top 5 or 6 QB when he comes back.

After seeing what those receivers could do with C. Batch throwing them the ball, he is definitely worth the pick up. I'm somewhat surprised that he is still available in leagues.

I am the guy who drafted Big Ben and just sat on him. Having Brady as a starter, it was obvious I wouldn't start anyone else anyway. The issue is they both have that week 5 bye week. Hehehe, oops! But yes, I agree that he will be a great QB once he comes back.

You gotta grab him...especially for that price! I decided on the draft strategy of waiting for a QB and taking Ben later for weeks 6+ and am happy so far with Ryan's performances in weeks two and three. That allowed me to have more depth at WR and RB and has worked so far. But I can't wait for Ben!

LoL Curtk I did the same exact thing.. I'm deep in WR and can't wait for Ben to come back and start throwing 400 yrds and 2-3 TDs!!! I also got Hillis two weeks ago .. FF is looking good so far..

Word to the wise if you got room for him... Grab Woodhead.. RB. For NE... He will blow up soon.. Don't believe me? Check put the kids collage record and a glimpse of him this last Sunday...

Trust me you'll be glad you did... Even if you have to wait a couple weeks..
