So I was enjoying a sunday funday yesterday and a kid convinced me to trade him Peyton Manning, Did i get a raw deal here?

I Gave: Peyton Manning, DeAngelo Williams
I Got: Tom Brady, McCoy

Yahoo Standard Scoring
QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 TE/WR

QB Peyton Manning
RB DeAngelo Williams, Frank Gore, LaDanian Tomlinson
WR Miles Austin, Jeremy Maclin, Derrick Mason, Legadu Naanee, Louis Murphy
TE Jermichael Finely, Vernon Davis

While you definitely downgraded a bit (not tremendously though) at QB, you certainly upgraded at RB. Having a Gore/McCoy tandem sure beats DWill/LT/Gore.

The trade certainly wasn't necessary, but you prob made some kid's day and didn't lose much, if anything, in the process....just don't make it a habit and trade Austin for B Edwards in Week 4!

Carolina seems to be struggling with something of an identity crisis right now. I plan to pick up J Stewart if he's on WW this week. Panthers HAVE to make a decision soon and it's anyone's job right now.

I think you did Ok, nothing to lose sleep over. You have to consider the intangibles, such as you got to be nicely buzzed, whereas the kid didn't.

Lol....best headline and thread I've read here in a while. No, you didn't get killed on this one. Peyton is a machine, but 80% of NE's scores will come through the air as well, and McCoy is definitely an upgrade from DWill. Good luck!
