HOW HiGH?...Vick Trade Value [WHIR 1000%]

Postby BoyNamedSue » Mon Sep 27, 2010 2:10 pm

Looking to cash in on Vick while value is still sky high.
Opinions on how much I can get in return are appreciated.
Am I crazy to ask for a package like Gore & B Lloyd or A Gates & LFitz for Vick?
Or should I add a PThomas or Royal to sweeten the pot?

OR keep Vick and trade Flacco?

Leave a link and I'll help you out.

I'm in a non-ppr money league and was just offered Vick for my Welker. I'm probably going to accept, but I'm not too happy about his schedule for the rest of the season. It's not like he goes up against the Lions every week. SF, ATL, TEN, IND.... you might not get as much as you're hoping for.

Gore and Lloyd is pretty fair, given that Lloyd will probably be a very inconsistent fantasy option this year. If you can get Gates and Fitz for Vick, by all means do it, even if you add in Eddie Royal to sweeten the pot.

Vick is your best QB, and you shouldn't get rid of him unless the return is very high.

i think i might keep vick and trade flacco. but since you're trying to sell him high, i think offering vick for gore and lloyd is a nice deal. you will probably have to throw in royal since you're trying to get gore.

help me out please: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=477093

If you can land Gore I'd go ahead and pull the trigger...

If you do offer him for a package, make sure you remind your trade partner that they're getting a fresh new empty roster spot to use on waivers.
I like that Gore & Lloyd package for him. In negotiation theory, they call that an "optimistic opening". Sometimes you get it, sometimes you get a counteroffer that is still a pretty good deal for you.

I was able to trade away Vick and Foster for Adrian Peterson, but that was accepted on Saturday, before AP and Vick had monster days. Still a good deal for both teams because my trade partner had Kolb and Garrard as his QB options. So there's one data point to use in your dealings.

RB: All Day AP, CJ2K, F.Jax, R.Brown, S. Greene, Dixon
