Mike Sims-Walker was dropped.

Postby Hurley916 » Mon Sep 27, 2010 8:04 pm

Do you think I should pick him up? Or is Garrard too bad?

My roster:

Kyle Orton
Austin Miles
Steve Smith (NYG)
Malcom Floyd
Rashard Mendenhall
MJD
Chris Cooley

Bench:
Johnathon Stewart
Devin Hester
James Jones (GB has detroit week 4 and Miles has a bye so picked him up as a fill in just for this week [from Wisconsin...])
Alex Smith

Who do I drop if I should pick him up?

Thanks for any help!

I would drop Smith. Orton is a good QB and he doesn't have his bye till week 9. Thats is plenty of time to either trade for a better QB, or pick one up off the WW.....I'm willing to bet that smith will be there in week 9

I wouldnt pick him up. Like you said, Garrard is too bad. I like James Jones pick up. I would try and find another guy like him. 3rd WR on a good passing team. I found Brandon Lloyd...

Take a look at mine please... viewtopic.php?f=18&t=477114

I disagree with dropping Steve Smith (NYG), unless he is hurt. When Garrard isn't getting intercepted or sacked, he's handing MJD the rock. I don't know much about James Jones, so I might drop that player. I need to study up!

He was saying to drop Alex Smith...which I suppose is an option, but I don't think I'd do that. I would either drop Hester or James Jones most likely or John Stewart...

I like to have a backup QB just in case and I am hoping Alex will be turning it around soon so I had a decent backup.

Thanks for the help so far guys...any other thoughts?

I think Sims-Walker is to good to be on the FA list and I would probably drop Jones or Hester for him. Sure JAC looks horrible with Garrard but I still think Sims-Walker will put up more numbers than the other two he just won't be consistent. He also sees more targets per week than the other two.
