AP and TJ (nor Austin - yikes!) cannot help me maintain my perfect record this week, and currently you can see that I have JStew (@ N.O. - had a TD last wk) and MBush (vs HOU - healthy w/ his workload likely to INcrease) penciled into my starting line-up for sunday. Now, GB-RB/FB Kuhn IS still available on the ww in this particular league, as is NEP-RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis and DEN-RB Maroney... Sproles, from my bench, COULD be a "sneaky" play too. SO... should I just stand pat or look to the ww for assistance? Maroney didn't exactly "suck" last sunday after all...
I'd avoid Maroney. I still don't think he's a good RB, and with Moreno getting healthier, Maroney's workload is only going to get smaller.
I think I'd take a chance on BJGE and drop Maroney. I just can't see a 34 year old RB that is a health risk(and hurt yet again) get the nod over a much younger back that has been more effective when he touches the ball. As for your other back, I like Kuhn vs. DET MUCH better than Bush or Sproles. Since I like hoarding RBs over WRs, I'd consider dropping Thomas. Thomas is going to be limited by poor QB play, but both the others have value if others are injured in front of him.
Thx markulous, and while I don't have Maroney just yet (ww FA) I agree that Kuhn's match-up may be the best of all the other options I listed, both ww and bench... gonna go see if I can land the big GB bruiser tmrw nite then, dropping M.Thomas in the process...

Oh whoops didn't see that you didn't already have Maroney. I like Kuhn this week. For the rest of the season I like BJGE upside more. If by some chance, Bellicheck decides to stick with a RB, BJGE could be at least a solid flex option throughout the year and has definite upside.
I don't think anyone on waivers makes for better options than what you already have.
I'd go JStew & Sproles this week. JStew's just your best option given your byes and I anticipate SD going off on Arizona so that could mean lots of carries in the 2nd half to burn the clock for Sproles.
I would sit M. Bush and pick up B. Green-Ellis. I don't think M. Bush will steal many carries from D. McFadden based on how well he has been playing as of late. L. Maroney is too risky.
Thanks all for the replies, and as it happens, BJGE WAS wrangled off the ww tonite, HOWEVER --- GB RB/FB Kuhn is STILL available for my friday "standard" transaction (our terminology), and so I will likely grab him and start him against DET. I'm just not sure how much confidence Norv has in Sproles as of yet, and his scant touches/receptions is a clue... SO it will likely be JStew and Kuhn, assuming I land him friday nite...
