Yeah, the days of Calvin being a must start are over. Hes either going to be labeled a bust or hes gotta show something IMO. I mean hes talented im not saying he isnt, but he does not play hard like the other great receivers. Those great receivers fight and WILL NOT be denied. You jam Calvin at the line, its play over.....

Despite QB issues, you can't bench Calvin Johnson. I also would like to point out that Nicks is a good option but a nagging injury could be a problem.
Calvin is the safest, and arguable the best option for this week out of those three receivers.
Good luck!
I dont get how you people continue to say Calvin is so great. What has he done that warrants a start?
His stats on THE YEAR---- 28 Targets, 14 receptions, 151 rec yards with the longest being 21 yards, and 1 TD. Thats an average of 4 catches 50 yards and .33 TD a game so far this year. Thats not even good for a WR3 let alone a so called stud.... Hes not a must start anymore people. I dont know if he just flat out wants out of Detroit and has given up or what but hes not the stud we thought he was going to be. Add that with having S Hill as QB, the starting RB has turf toe and they play GB..... NO WAY!!

He only plays against double and triple coverage the entire game, manages above avg yardage and most times a score. You're right he's no good. I'd like to see Wayne or fitz do what Calvin does with the lack of supporting cast and the terrible qb's he's got throwing to him.

Im going to challenge you dont watch the Lions games. Cause I live in metro Detroit and watch every single snap. Calvin dogs it out there, runs lazy routes, and does not give a shit. If you jam him at the line its play over for him. He drops balls too. 28 targets 14 catches. Do you think Wayne, Fitz and AJ dont see double coverage? Are you joking dude? Its the NFL, the first thing they do is try to take away the other teams best players. You say above average yardage. Does that mean 50 yards for a WR1 is average? lol. And you say most times a score. Hes got one this year. ONE.
