WR troubles

Postby the fire man6 » Wed Sep 29, 2010 10:37 am

Well, my problem (which seems to be every season) is that I always seem to pick up the right WR, I'm not complaining but week to week comes by and its hard to figure out how to start.

Currently (week 4) I'm sitting with, S. Moss, R. White, W. Welker, A. Collie, R. E. Williams (just picked him up this week due to his explosive game last week and someone in my league dropped him). Now I've only got 2 WR positions and a RB/WR position (which for obvious reasons is filled, and my RB's seems so lack luster this year).

Who should be started based off of this for week 4? Williams has a bye so thats a given, and I think I'm going to wait for a few weeks for him to prove himself based off of week 1 & 2. The deal is, I never know who to start, Collie or Welker? They both have explosive games and its hard to pick who will have the better. For example I started Welker last week and Collie had a HUGE fantasy game, sitting on my bench.

Thanks in advance for advise.

Tough to choose between Welker and Collie right now. They're like the same guy. Just on gut, I'm thinking Welker has another big game against Miami. And as your WR1, I'd start Roddy White. Atlanta should beat San Fran by about 50 points.

I would check on Gracon's status prior to the game. If he is out I would start Collie as he has played well the last few weeks and is second in the league in total yards. For WR1 go with White.

I'd go with White and Welker. You know they will both get their catches and they are consistant.

Sounds like you have 3 WR spots you're trying to fill...

If that's the case, in order...

White, Collie, Welker

White is a STUD.

Peyton & co. get the lowly Jags.

Welker has yet to have a huge game this year but is finding the endzone, Patirots seem to turn it up a notch in prime time & I always like playing guys when they are facing their former teams.

S. Moss is tempting, but I think I'd take a pass on him this week - IMO Philly is gonna do everything in their power to make McNabb look like he was expendable - in order to do that, I'm sure they are game planning on how to stop Moss & Cooley.
