Brady/Harvin/VJax for Moss/Boldin/Bradford.. WHIR always!

Postby woods_opc » Wed Sep 29, 2010 10:43 am

14 team H2H league. Standard scoring. 4 keepers year over year with no penalties on keepers. 3 WR. 2 RB & no flex

QB: Brady, Orton
WR: Jennings, Harvin, Crabtree, Clayton, V. Jackson
RB: Peterson, Turner, Bradshaw, Lynch, Darby
TE: Finley
K: Akers
DEF: Saints

The trade

I give: Tom Brady, Percy Harvin & Vincent Jackson

I get: Randy Moss, Anquan Boldin & Sam Bradford

Who wins this trade? Can I survive with Orton as my quarterback this year?

Thoughts?

So, I think you have to do this deal. You get 2 studs for one. Although I've always worried about Boldin's health, but he has been a beast this year and he's THE guy in Balt right now. I wouldn't be psyched about downgrading Brady to Orton, but the upgrades at WR clearly outweigh the downgrade at QB. Hopefully, Orton can keep it up over there, but if not you have some decent depth in Bradshaw at RB to trade for a QB. Vincent Jackson is TOO much of a wild card right now to rely on. He'd be worth moving while you can in my opinion. Good luck!

Trade is worth it since you have Orton. You get some great upgrades at WR.

You definitely come out ahead on this one, especially with bradford's long term potential.

I'd bite, just to get Moss/Boldin is huge, everyone else in the deal is worthless in comparison so it's essentially Brady for Moss/Boldin. Not too shabby...

I'd do this trade as well. You get a huge upgrade at WR, and what no one else is saying is that Bradford is quietly putting together a pretty good 1st 3 games. In a keeper league, he might be worth a spot as well.

Thanks for the help with mine. Take a look at my reply question if u get a sec:

I’m on the bandwagon here, the deal is just too good. However you’re going to have to make a move with Bradford or at least get another QB for week 9 as Denver and STL are on a Bye that same week. With the upgrades at WR though I think you’ll have enough stock to get a deal done for another QB before week 9. I love this deal it’s totally worth it Orton is en fuego right now so go get yourself some stud WRs
