Peterson, Charles, and Romo have a bye. I think I can do something like Charles for Beanie Wells and Orton. Would this be a good idea? It gives me a chance to win this week and the downgrade isn't too bad
I am a huge Charles guy and think that if he eve gets the full load would just explode. However, given your situation this deal is not only fair but could be extremely helpful.

I would alright with it.
I'm the same way, really like Charles' potential. Who knows if the manager would even accept this though since he has been waiting on Beanie. I think Beanie has a lot of potential too but like 80% of the money in this league goes to first place, playoffs doesn't mean too much in terms of money. Feel like every win is important.
It's not a terrible deal if you don't have any other alternatives but I'd rather hold onto Charles. Why downgrade at RB for a one week QB start? Which QBs are available? It might be better just to get one rough bye week out of the way. Start Bradshaw, BJGE, and drop Maroney for the best QB available.

I agree here, keep Charles and go with BJGE/Bradshaw for a week... Good luck.

Thanks, will stay pat. Helped you out in return. Who do you like between Hasselbeck and Gradkowski? I'm thinking either should be a decent option. I have Murphy so maybe go for the connection against Houston?
I wouldn't do this deal. I like Beanie, but his knee is still kind of up in the air. Charles potential is off the charts and should continue to see more touches. You have plenty of RB firepower on your bench to get through this rough bye week. I would get a serviceable QB with a good matchup off the wire or trade one of your backup rb's for a QB this week and to back up Romo.

12 teams, standard scoring, redraft
QB - Romo RB - A.Peterson, J. Charles WR - Calvin Johnson, Bowe, M. Floyd TE - Gates K - Gould DEF - Chicago BN - Barber, Bradshaw, McGahee, Green-Ellis, Maroney, L. Murphy
I was just offered Murphy for McNabb but I'm not even sure about that one. I have little depth at WR and by little, pretty much none. What do you guys think of countering with McNabb and Moore for Barber and Murphy?
I wouldn't trade Murphy for McNabb straight up with your lack of WR depth, and I think you can do better than Moore as a WR in return. I'm not a big fan of McNabb and you're not looking at a guy you'd start over Romo other than this week with the Cowboys on a bye. Find his next best WR and ask for him instead of Moore.
And don't do the Charles deal -the loss of upside is too big. Good luck!
