Trade options? WHIR!!!

Postby matt2v17 » Wed Sep 29, 2010 12:31 pm

All right, so my WR are amazing, and I can't complain about my RBs, but I need to figure out something to do with RBs for the future, I have both of my main guys who have a bye week in week 10. I also think I should probably try to get a stud RB, but i don't know who to pursue. Any ideas for my team guys?

ESPN League - .5 PPR - 12 teams
QB: Brees
RB: P. Thomas, D. McFadden, B. Wells, R. Torain
WR: R. Wayne, B. Marshall, H. Ward, M. Wallace, M. Clayton, K. Walter. E. Royal, D. Thomas
TE: J. Finley
D/ST: Baltimore
K: Neil Rackers

I would actually like to trade McFadden to get a better RB, but I don't know who to go for. Any ideas?

B Marsh + McFadden for a top tier RB? It's really hard to say not knowing other teams but someone who is willing to take a hit at RB for depth at WR would be nice. If you can get a WR3/4 out of the trade for it, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Thanks for the help!

Honestly, I think you're team is pretty solid as is. I'm high on McFadden this year, as long as he stays healthy (I know that's not a given with his history). I actually think that by Week 10 Wells and Torain will be rolling and you won't even see that big of a drop off. If you're dead set on trading, I would try packaging Ward and Wells or Ward and McFadden and see if that can get you an upgrade at RB.

Thanks for the help with mine.

Thanks for help with mine.

Agreed that Wells will pick it up. And agreed with the first response. Try to trade an RB and Marshall for a RB1 with a different bye that suits you. Look for a team in need of a WR so that odds are more in favor of a trade happening. Gl!
