Mathews for Moreno?....WHIR

My team is in my sig. Mathews is my 3rd RB. Another team is hurting at RB. He's got D. Williams, Moreno and HIghtower. That's it. I was thinking of offering him Mathews (it seems like he may play this week) for Moreno. Which has more upside, Moreno if he gets healthy or Mathews if he gets healthy? At some point, I would like to trade either one for a better WR.

Thanks for the help on mine. Thats really a tough call, but seeing as Moreno has multiple hamstring injuries now id avoid him, not to mention Orton is on fire with 4 different receivers. Matthews once all healed up I think will have tremendous upside, esp with Tolbert and Sproles both proving they cant hold onto the ball after last week.

well depending upon what kind of league your in i could see moreno ending up being worth more in trade value.. It seems mathews is having a hard time with holding onto the ball but should come back to a better offensive line with Mcneil comming back soon. I have moreno and he was playing great until he got hurt, he seems less durable than mathews but i like morenos overall talent and offense. ugh its a tough choice and i know why your asking.. id go with moreno and hope that he stays healthy. but if you believe moreno cant stay healthy id stick with mathews and find a better rb to go after

Hmm this one is tough but i like the idea of holding onto Matthews until he can at least play a couple of consecutive games to see what he gives you. The chargers are a powerful offense that will have plenty of trips to the red zone this season. plus i would imagine that you drafted him in the first 2 rounds? That being the case give the guy a chance to show you what he can do before giving up hope. I don't think he'll be a #1 back this year, the team passes a ton and they've got Tolbert and Sproles who will no doubt snake some touches and goal line carries, but he could have a couple of good games and be a good RB3 for bye weeks or a flex option.

I'd trade matthews for moreno, cus even when healthy i think tolbert will take most of his goalline work, plus you have sproles taking away the 3rd down work and 2 minute time, just don't see matthews getting alot of production will all the mouths they gotta field, plus its a pass first team with rivers....moreno with his second hamstring injury, but if both backs stay healthy, i think moreno will signifclly out perform mathews.
