Greetings all, I just had someone in my league offer me Darren McFadden for Andre Johnson. I declined it mentally right off the bat, but then I started looking at the numbers. McFadden has almost twice the amount of points scored so far. Now I'm thinking about it. My big concern is the impact that Michael Bush will have as he gets closer to 100%. I'm pretty deep at WR, but weak in RB's. So far I'm 2-1, so there is no panic to do this trade, but it will help me address my weak spot.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. My roster is below, standard scoring 12 team league.
QB - Vick WR1 - AJ WR2 - Calvin Johnson WR3 - Malcolm Floyd RB1 - Arian Foster RB2 - Shonn Greene TE - Brent Celek K - Rob Bironas Def - WW weekly
Bench RB - Fred Taylor RB - Mike Tolbert WR - Louis Murphy WR - Mario Manningham WR - Mike Williams (Tampa Bay) TE - Marcedes Lewis
I think you should consider another hobby. Fantasy football isn't for you.
In all seriousness, McFadden should continue to do well, and Johnson is hurt. It's a gamble either way. I'd stick to the guy I drafted, but it's up to you.
12 Team $ (PPR + Return Yardage):
QB: Tom Brady, Andy Dalton RB: Charles, Lynch, Martin, Stewart, DeAngelo Williams, Rashad jennings, Joe McKnight, Leon Washington WR/TE: Antonio Brown, Brandon Lloyd, Randall Cobb, Ted Ginn K: Bryant DST: Bills
If you want to do this, see if you can counter with Calvin instead. I wouldn't give up my WR1 for a RB2. McFadden might not keep up the way he's going, but he'd be great to have until he cools off, and if needed you can swap him with another RB elsewhere before his points drop.
