Best on block; WHIR

Best was put on the block. Granted, his toe might be a problem, and granted that owner might not want to trade with me, but! Would it be worth it to try to trade for him now? I was just thinking of waiting a week and seeing how healthy he is, but getting him now could be a buy-low situation, whereas if he comes back strong he'd be tougher to get. Thoughts?

Long story short, I got Addai in a trade from the same owner, so that part is a little iffy. What other offers would look good?

His team:
QB: Schaub, Kolb
RB: Mendy, Rice, Best, Portis
WR: Fitz, Colston, S.Moss, Wallace
TE: Greshem, Miller
K: Tynes
Def: SD, DAL

My team is in sig.

i'd try to get him now, and i'd start by offering him addai/B.Jax or addai/steve smith just to get a idea how much he's looking for.

I would definitely buy low if you can, but I would not put any of your starters in for trade right now. Best is good, no doubt about that, but he could be injured for a few weeks, and I'm not sure how often he is going to be injured throughout the season. He's small and fragile right now, but he could also be a break out star later in the season if he stays healthy. Buy low now, or buy ...medium? next week after you see how he recovers. he won't play this weekend in my opinion.

Help?

I like his potential, but I would wait to see how his injury pans out. Turf toe is one of those nagging injuries that can linger throughout the whole season. Hope this helps.

Thanks for helping with mine, and good luck.

its a definate bye now opportunity, i would be careful who you offer since you dont know how bad it is.. Look to trade a couple of your backups for him that are solid. like addai and someone else.. Best could end up being a great steal and starter for you. Just dont give up anything of serious value for him since you dont know the extent of his injury yet.

Please help with mine..

I would try to buy low on best right now. Dont offer any starters with his injury but no harm in offering the owner something and seeing what the thinks of best.

help with mine...viewtopic.php?t=477553
