is the portis legacy over???

Postby TheHoustonSoilers!!! » Wed Sep 29, 2010 5:32 pm

my league has 1 Qb, 3Wr, 2 Rb, 1 TE, 1 WR/RB, 1 WR/TE/RB and 4 bench spots. I currently have QB: Tom Brady, WR's Andre Johnson, Mark Clayton, Louis Murphy; RB's Pierre Thomas, Clinton Portis.; TE, John Carlson; Steve Smith (NYG) and Mike Tolbert in the flex spots. Mike Vick, Mike Simms-walker, Jonathan Stewart and Shonn Green on the bench. I was in the midst of dropping Greene for Forsett yesterday, and when I went to pull the trigger, someone else grabbed him. I need a more dependable RB, and given some of the talk from Washington, Portis may lose his role. I can pick up Benjarvus Green-Ellis, who is part of New Englands frustrating and unpredictable backfield. Leonb Washington, Dexter Mccluster, Tim hightower, Donald Brown, Fred Jackson, Correll Buckhalter, John Kuhn, Brandon Jacobs, and marshawn lynch are among the free agents available. I don;t want to drop Greene or stewart for nothing, and I don't want to drop portis for nothing either, but I am uncertain about his role in the future, and want to gobble up a Green-Ellis before someone else does, if he is worth it.

well there are definatly alot of options on the WW.. I like M. Lynch bc he may be traded and hes been producing, Hightower is solid and could be a good play again soon. Green Ellis i like alot since i know the Pats dont run alot n all that but hes what the Pats really like. Washington, Mccluster, Kuhn, and jacobs arent worth picking up at all. Buckhalter, Jackson and brown are possible choices as well. I definatly wouldnt drop Greene or stewart for nothing and portis id wait till he gets hurt and ive heard that Larry Johnson may be signed soon. If you wanted i would trade greene and stewart together for something that u really like.

Please help with mine..
