Pierre Thomas VS Car

OR

Mendenhall VS Baltimore

Who would you pick? I'm having a tough decision (like to have it, but cannot decide!).

Thanks. ;-D

flip a coin, baltimore's run defense wasn't doing so hot last week. and mendenhall has been running pretty well. batch can open it up every once and awhile and will keep 'em from really stacking the box too much. no one else to compete with for carries and a passing offense that is only so good... i think baltimore's offense is gonna get shut down and pitt will be running the clock and keeping possession. but that's just my opinion. polamalu is gonna light some people up.

NO will get the early lead and try to chew some clock, PT will get his carries.

i'd be watching for injuries to either defense this week and go on that. they're really even at this point.

I think I like Mendy here, its hard to pick any Saints player as you never know how the touches will break down. Mendy seems like more of a sure thing, even against the Ravens. You know he's gettin the rock and you know he's going to get it alot. Thomas might get some carries if they get a lead and try to run clock, but I cant remember a time when the Saints ran clock... Mendy should be a better option to get into the endzone, IMO

I'd go with Thomas. The Saints could be up big and feed him the ball a lot in the second half. Tough to bench Mendenhall, but it's a rival game and the Raven's D could step it up this week, especially after giving up a ton to Hillis last week.

hmmm....I just read this.

Pierre Thomas missed Saints practice Wednesday with an ankle injury.

Coach Sean Payton said Wednesday that the Saints have considered re-signing DeShawn Wynn, but will wait to "see how Pierre progresses." Thomas was able to return in overtime after tweaking the ankle late in the fourth quarter of last Sunday's loss to the Falcons. New Orleans hosts Carolina in Week 4. Thomas owners should be quick to pick up Chris Ivory.

I would go with Mendenhall. As other have said he is guaranteed to get carries, hopefully he can do something with them.
