Trade Bradshaw, Greene, and Holmes for Rice?

Postby BaseFan » Wed Sep 29, 2010 10:25 pm

I am in a standard scoring 10 team league. I am currently 3-0 with the most points in my league. My team:

QB Rivers
WR C Johnson
WR Floyd
RB Turner
RB Foster
TE Finley
WR/RB A. Bradshaw

Bench
RB Charles
RB Greene
WR M. Wallace
WR S. Holmes
QB Ben R

Am I giving too much up for Rice? My thinking is that for one, Greene is pretty much just name recognition now. Someone dropped him and I just happened to have the waiver priority, but I don't see him being able to get in my lineup unless LT gets hurt. As for Holmes, I still don't trust Sanchez that much and once Revis gets back, that defense is going to shut people down and their games will be much lower scoring, therefore they won't be throwing so much. So basically it comes down to Bradshaw vs. Rice. Bradshaw has looked good so far and does have more points, but I still think Rice has more upside. But his injury and the fact that McGahee still gets goaline worries me some. Thoughts overall on this trade???

I think this might actually work out for you. I hate losing Bradshaw but Rice would make a great "flex" spot and would give you unstoppable RB's (with Charles on the bench as well!)...I agree with Greene and Holmes, could be wrong, but I agree. I'd go for it...please help & thanks!

You're 3-0 and are the top score.....and you're trading for a guy who hasn't gotten more than(10 points in my league) lol why? Rice may be a good RB but the fact is you are at the top of the only 2 categories that mean anything in FF. I wouldn't do a thing

So 1 for and 1 against. I understand where I stand right now in my league, but its fantasy. 3-0 can be 3-3 quickly. I think basically the question is, who should I want for the rest of the season, Bradshaw or Rice?

That's a bold move for Rice seeing as he hasn't done anything yet this year.

I'd pass on this one.
