jennings for JStew? Beanie? Addai?

Postby letsgobirds » Wed Sep 29, 2010 11:12 pm

Basically i've been looking to add another RB to my roster since I'm pretty deep at WR right now. I've been offered all 3 of these deals straight up for Jennings, with my favorite being in the order of JS,Beanie,Addai, although i'm not yet sold on any completely. I'm asking which,if any of these deals, would you guys lean to the most? Leave a link fellas.

quick 2nd thought....my Roddy for his Chad 85 and Carlson for an upgrade at TE was also just offered....any thoughts?

You need a back while Moreno is out and I think Beanie can provide the most help immediately along with giving upside. JStew would be nice to own but I wouldn't trust him as a starter for a while, only as someone on the bench.

wait... which jennings are they trying to get off you? You're not seriously considering trading Greg Jennings for Stewart, Beanie, or Addai are you?

Jennings is the top option in one of the best offences in the NFL marched down the field by one of the best QBs. I don't care how deep you are at WR. The guy is a threat to put 20 points on the board for you in any given week other than his bye.

You wont get that from Stewart, Beanie, or Addai.

I realize you need a plan while Moreno is out but are you really wanting to base a decision on one position for one week when the season isn't even a quarter of the way in yet?

There's not a single person you can trust in Carolina's offence right now. Not with Clausen/Moore there. JS is a boom or bust play each week and I can all but promise you you're going to see far more bust than boom. Beanie? He was supposed to be the starter this year. He looked like crap in preseason and then fell to injury. He's back and yet Hightower looks to have the better part of a 60/40 split... and Arizona isn't looking pretty this year either. Addai? With Brown there and Manning airing it out... not worth Jennings.

I wouldn't make a deal for any of those three, but if I had a gun to my head I'd pick Wells. First game back off an injury, he got more carries than Hightower. Again though, I wouldn't trade Jennings for any of them....classic buy low for the other owner.

Trade Bowe's ever-present potential, Nicks' high td-to-catch ratio, or Gaffney's existence in a pass-happy offense that has a new #1 receiver every week and many mouths to feed. But not a top 10 guy, and not for such a small return. Good luck!
