I am 2-1 and he is 0-3. He is pretty desparate for a QB and I am pretty desparate for some WR. We are in a 16 team league and we both drafted in the bottom 4. I was thinking possibly Cutler/Branch/Blount for Flacco/Driver/Holmes?? Maybe Cutler is too much to give at this point??

My team is:

QB: Cutler/Henne
RB: Mendy/Green/Dixon/Scott/Blount
WR: Branch/Evans/Massaquoi/Meachem/Britt
TE: Gates
K: Bryant
D/ST: Ravens

and his team is:

QB: Flacco/Wallace
RB: Addai/SJax/Hightower
WR: Driver/D. Thomas/R. Moss/Holmes/Lloyd
TE: Pettigrew/Winslow
K: Nugent
D/ST: Seahawks/Cowboys
League One:
QB-Rodgers/E. Manning
RB-Charles, SJax, Gore, Green-Ellis, Hillis
WR-Wallace, Jones (ATL), Harvin, Wayne, Cobb
TE-F. Davis
D/ST-Jets
K-Bryant

I don't like the trade. Cutler is going to put up numbers within Mike Martz's system and even though he'll have a 3-4 interception game here or there, his weekly production is going to be something your team can easily bank on. The WRs he's giving you can be duplicated with some careful waiver wire research. I say ask for more, or stand pat.

I like it. I do like Cutler, but your WRs are just pathetic. ElGallo didn't consider the fact that its a 16 team league, and therefore it isn't likely possible to duplicate production of two top-25 WRs with FAs. Who is available at WR? I can't imagine anyone really worth owning, but something to consider.

I love the idea of trading for S Holmes before he comes back for your team. It's a risk worth taking with WRs like this. You start 3 WRs? If you only start 2, I would go after Moss. But if 3, you need to get 2 guys to make trading Cutler worth it.

A little more info would help, but I like it.

Look at mine?

Thanks guys. I actually was able to nibble and get him to accept Henne/Blount/Branch in exchange for Driver and Holmes.

The best receivers on the waiver are Roscoe Parrish and Hartline. Pretty bad huh? We start 3 WRs.
