Hold on to Tolbert. Mathews has an injury-prone label that he was trying to shake coming out of college, and so far, it seems to be ringing true. Coach Turner also stated that Tolbert has earned an opportunity to see some goal line work, so you may end up in a J. Harrison/P. Hillis situation down there, and you'll be able to make the decision on who is a more consistent producer because you own both guys.

As for your trade, one word: garbage. Rice is already getting busted up and we're only through 3 weeks, plus McGahee has to be viewed as a legitimate threat to his job if Rice strings together some mediocre games. Crabtree can be dished to pick up a free agent.

I agree with holding onto Tolbert simply because you own Mathews. If you didn't, I would say drop him.

On the trade, Clearly, CJ >>> Rice. But Marshall is >>>> Crabtree. What do your other WRs look like? Who are you starting? I will say, Rice's slow start and recent injury make me lean against the deal. I don't want to say that Rice is this year's Forte yet, but he hasn't done a whole lot the first 3 games. So unless you WRs are really hurting, I think you can pass on the trade.

Rice was my one keeper in my money league, he will be questionable for the next 14 weeks and struggle when he plays. :~(
