Who do i put on the bench for lance moore?, between Deangelo Williams, Boldin, Addai, and Maclin?
MY TEAM: QB Micheal Vick vs washington WR Jeremy Maclin vs washington WR Anquan Boldin @ Pitt RB Micheal Turner vs San Fran RB DeAngelo Williams @ New Orleans TE Dallas Clark @ Jags W/R/T Joseph Addai @ Jags
BENCH: BN Steve Smith(car) BN Lance Moore BN Ricky Williams BN Miles Austin BYE WEEK BN Ben Roethlisberger BN Mike Tolbert BN Jason Snelling K Nate Kaeding DEF Indy
This is why i'm starting lance moore over one of those 4 guys... (guy posted this at Rotoworld) Lance Moore (WR - NO) - On the surface, Lance Moore is in a similar situation to Brandon Lloyd and Jabar Gaffney in Denver. Marques Colston, Devery Henderson, Robert Meachem, and Jeremy Shockey are all still here stealing targets, and Brees is a master of spreading the ball around. But over the years, Moore's production has shown a pretty interesting pattern. It appears to be directly tied to Reggie Bush being out with an injury! Moore burst onto the scene in 2008 with 79 receptions for 928 yards and 10 TDs. A closer look at the game log shows that when Reggie Bush went down with an injury in Week 7, Moore really turned it on. In weeks 8-12 with Bush out, Moore's lines were as follows:
Bush reinjured himself and missed weeks 16 and 17, and once again, Moore stepped up his game:
Week 16 - 4 catches for 36 yards Week 17 - 8 catches for 91 yards, 2 TDs
All said, Moore had 55% of his yardage and 8 of his 10 TDs in the 6 games Bush missed due to injury in 2008. So far in 2010, in the one game Bush has missed due to injury, Moore racked up 6 catches for 149 yards and 2 TDs. How is that for a trend?
As a person who rarely gets to watch the Saints, I can't say for sure that Moore is running routes that would be run by Bush, but it is clear he is on the field more, and more involved in the passing attack when Bush is out of action. With Reggie expected to miss another 3-5 weeks, consider Lance Moore a solid pickup and a decent flex play.

why not, he's on the field twice the amount of time when bush is out, and he's clearly brees's favorite target, and he's never had a bad game when bush was out?
if you had to pick one, who would you go with?, cus he's starting for me, but i can't deside who to sit, deangelo and addai have done nothing for me so far. and boldin is playing against pitt defense, neither of those 3 are as much of a guarentte as lance moore.

haha, ok. Well if I had to sit one, it would be Boldin @ Pit. Indy is at the jags(a team so bad, they just picked up Trent Edwards), so one of their 5 probable TDs is bound to go to Addai. If I was the Car Coach, I would be giving D Will a full load of touches in an attempt to keep Brees off the field and reduce the INTs. Cant bench Turner against a 49ers D that has been about the league's worst. Philly's O has been rolling, and going against a subpar Was D, so you gotta keep Maclin in. So you are left with Boldin against a tough Pit D to leave on your bench. I just think that Baltimore has so many Offensive weapons that they have to be able to pull it together. Add the fact that they are a pretty good defensive team going up against a 3rd string QB. There could easily be 2-3 INTs that set up the Offense in great position for a Boldin strike.

well, you made me feel a little better about my other options, maybe i wont start lance, its a hard desision, but i was leaning to sitting boldin to, but its kinda hard since he just got me 37 points last week. lol

Bouldin has been a stud thus far and you gotta start your studs regardless of the match up. Hence you sit either Addai or Machlin and I would opt for sitting Addai until he has actually done something.
