Vick vs. Schaub

Postby rvnfn233 » Thu Sep 30, 2010 1:14 pm

I have struggled started Vick in week 2 and then Schaub in week 3. It goes without saying I am gun shy about this decision. Schaub against the Raiders seems to be a no brainer, but this year looks like it may shape up to be the year of Vick. I would love to hear any and all opinions.

Either one looks set to throw up at least 20 fantasy pts. hard to say who will get more. i would try to deal one or the other for a top tier RB or WR rather than bench one each week.

pretty even matchup, but check to see if A. Johnson plays, that could put it a little more in Vick's favor if he sits

Schaub has enough weapons to still score big,... that is,....... if Arian Foster doesn't go off on their horrible Run Defense like he did the Colts.

Vick,.. is a big weapon by himself facing a pretty bad pass Def,...

Can't believe I'm saying this,... but I would roll with Vick
TD 6-12 varies on length, Any reverse role TD is DOUBLE PTS

Run/Rec 50yds=2, 100=4, 150=6, 200=10
Passing 250yds=1, 300=3, 350=4, 400=5, 450=7

FG= 3-12 varies on length.

D/ST sack=1, under 300yds=3 ,INT/FR=1. D/ST TD's are DOUBLE PTS.

Oaklands pass D is actually pretty good, but their run D is terrible. I would expect foster to have a huge day and schaub to pass when they have to. I have both schaub and Vick and since Washington has a pretty bad pass D, I'm going with him.

I agree with many of the others. I would not be surprised to see it become and Arian Foster day and they don't have to pass much this week, so I'd stick with Vick and hope he stays hot.

Good Luck!!!

I would go with M. Vick and his extremely favorable match up this week. A. Johnson is also questionable, which could limit M. Schaub's production significantly.
