I'm glad I hitched my wagon up to the Torain train on three of my teams. Looks like I've got a new starting RB for my respective teams.

I am a Ryan Gran owner and have been frustrated with my plug in plays from Snelling to B Jackson to Forsett. I Dropped both Snelling and B jackson and picked up Hillis and Torain. I am hoping I am a happy owner from here on out!

I rate Hillis higher but you can never have too many RBs so I grabbed him in a league where he was available. I think he's more of a RB2 bye week fill in or injury replacement but you never know. Grab and stash him if you can.

Washington's Offensive line did a nice job, too. Torain looks like a keeper.

I have him on my squad too and I needed every one of his pts to win. Nevertheless, the guy doesn't impress me at all. He stopped attacking holes toward the end of the game. Plus, many of his runs came from broken arm tackles that could have dropped him for a loss or short gain. I think it was more Indy's brutal run defense than anything Ryan did. Defenses that can tackle should have no problem shutting this guy down.

He may be only worth goal line carries. Not to mention K.Williams looked good and Shannahan is notorious for screwing RBs over.

Look to trade this big boy if you can.

Agree w/ pretty much everything you said, except for nothing imprssive - I read somewhere that 85 of his 100 yards came after 1st contact - Indy's bad D or not, that's an amazing stat.

Not very fast - check, not very elusive - check, takes an absolute pounding - check, trade him if you can - check.

Bears this week isn't very scary, Detroit the following week is juicy, then comes BYE, Philly after - again, not very scary...

After that - Portis could figure into the equation, and the schudle gets a bit more daunting - TEN, MIN, NYG, TB (juicy), DAL, JAX (juicy)

I'm throwing out feelers now however, I will actively be trying to move him after either the Bears game (depending on performace) and definately after Detroit.

Torain Halloween Hammy.

Asked Sunday if he thought his hamstring injury was serious, Ryan Torain replied "Hard to say."
"I was just striding out the last play of the half, and just strained my left hamstring," explained Torain. The Skins have a bye in Week 9, but Torain's history says he won't recover quickly. Keiland Williams appears next in line for feature back duty in Washington, so he'll be a hot waiver pickup this week. Newly acquired James Davis is also worth a look.
