Help with RB! WHIR!

Postby Millcity_Maniac » Thu Sep 30, 2010 7:01 pm

Hey guys need some help with RB. Its a standard scoring 2QB PPR league. .5 per Rec. Only other weird thing is its return yards for players. I had Ryan Grant and Kolb and missed out on both Jackson and Vick so I started the year off bad and unlucky. So now I have Best being hurt and being a dreaded game time decision. I am not sure if I can risk it. Someone just dropped Brandon Jackson but he is a waiver claim and I am in the last waiver position. Besides I have Jackson in another league because I had grant in another league. Here is the best of what is left:

Brandon Jackson(GB) vs Det(waiver)
BenJarvis Green-Ellis(NE) @ Mia (Leaning towards this. I think its the most interesting option)
Ricky Williams (MIA) vs NE
Laurence Maroney(Den) @ Ten (waiver)

I also have Shonne Greene(NYJ) @Buf and Jason Snelling(ATL) vs SF on the Bench too. let me know what you would do. Leave a link and Ill see what I can do. Thanks!

Crap man, not many options, but if it was me I'd go with Green-Ellis. I think he's the safest pick out of the bunch.

Hmm ... all of these guys are close, IMO. I could see an argument for any of them. For me, I think it comes down to BJax vs BGE. I don't trust BB's game plan with RBs - he's almost as bad as Shanahan. But I think he has the biggest upside - like 100+ yards with TDs.

Though I wouldn't be surprised to see BJax have a strong game. I'm live in Packer country, and the media has been over the coach for bailing on the running game. McCarthy has been insisting that he likes his RBs and the running game. I almost expect him to try to make a point of this with his play-calling. And the Lions are the perfect team to try this against.

Ricky vs. a NE team that is giving up yardage to RB's plus Ronnie's hammy is hurting...and MNF.....I"d give the rock to Ricky. Jackson is promising but Khun will steal lots of touches.

good luck ;-D

I believe your decision is between B. Jackson and R. Williams. They are the safest picks and benefit from their match ups the most. I think I would give the slight edge to R. Williams, as Miami's RBs tend to tear up the New England defense. B. Jackson is riskier because he loses a significant amount of carries to J. Kuhn.
