trade Peterson? whir

I made a trade and am not sure I'm going to be able to get a TE like I wanted. Would you trade Peterson for Gore and Finley?

I would do that in a heartbeat given your TE situation. Finley looks like a stud this year. It's only a matter of time until he posts a 25 or 30 point performance for a week, and I think he challenges gates and clark for top TE this year.

Thanks for the help. I'm thinking about changing it to Peterson, Calvin and possibly Barber for Gore, Finley, White. Do you think this would be better? He asked me about my Peterson for his Gore and Finley. I asked him about my Calvin and Barber for his White. He needs a bye week filler and isn't a big fan of Calvin but I think I can get this done.

On a side note do you think it would be a better idea to go after Celek Z.Miller? Not sure what I can give for him but would probably be bench players. Getting a TE is harder than I thought for some reason everyone wants two on their team lol.

I would take the initial offer with comfort.

Out of the two TE's, I'd go after Miller. I think that, regardless of who is at QB in Oakland, Miller gets more looks than Celek. Vick will most likely pick up the short yardage that he'd get from the TE and he certainly isn't looking for Celek deep.

Do you think going after Miller would be a better idea than the original trade? For Miller it would be something like Bowe, Barber, or maybe Murphy for him.

edit - I can probably get Carlson instead of one of them

Personally, I would't trade Peterson for Gore and Finley, but it depends on how much you think Finley will blow up. Gore has 2 TD's this year, with only 1 on the ground. Now there's a new OC and his receiving yards (much like with Forte), I don't see as lasting. Peterson will get the carries and the points.

Finley has 265/0 TD's and Miller has 156/1 TD, so I don't get the love for Finley at the moment. He's been good, but he's not Gates in his prime and I don't see him being able to maintain high production if he has to be double teamed. I'd go for Miller, because I think he can have quality games and Peterson just outweighs Gore and FInely.
