wide reciever dillema - fitzgerald, edwards, or walter?

Postby 7LEAFMAFIA » Fri Oct 01, 2010 1:02 pm

my wide recievers are

randy moss @ MIA
larry fitzgerald @ SD
braylon edwards @ BUF
kevin walter @ OAK*

*andre johnson could sit this one out due to an injury, which is why im considering walter

I am starting moss, and I get to start 2 more wide recievers . . .

moss

do i go with

fitz and edwards?
fitz and walters?
edwards and walters?

Any suggestions?

It's hard to imagine benching Fitz, even with Warner gone. He will still be a primary target and I expect he and DA will get in more sync as the season goes.

I really like Walter if Andre is hurt.

Sanchez/Braylon to me, are inconsistent. I think Bralyon is a boom/bust pick every week.

So if Andre Johnson sits, I'd roll with Fitz and Walter. If Andre plays, you could gamble with Braylon.

I own all of these players, and this is the first week I am sitting larry fitz in favor of walter. you can actually see my extended reasoning in the topic "week 4: larry fitz, boldin, mcfadden < walter, clayton, green-ellis?" Fitz has been consistent, but never really spectacular. My league has room to play a lot of WR (4 flex spots) so I have Walter playing, especially against Oakland defense. I still have several good WR in (hester, collie, clayton, hines), so sitting fitz does not have as much bearing on myself. I have been trying to trade braylon edwards this whole time so he has always just been an afterthought.
