Take the trade??.whir

Postby jonesy37 » Fri Oct 01, 2010 8:33 pm

Been offered a trade and need some opinions...standard scoring..no ppr..1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 1k, 1def

my team
qb - schaub, mcnabb
rb - turner, thomas, portis, m bush, ivory, snelling
wr - fitz, jennings, hicks
te - finley
k - bryant
def - chargers

being offered
mcfadden and bowe
for
portis and fitz

i like the idea of mcfadden for portis, but i'm hesitant on giving up fitz since it's fitz and bowe has done anything...but the situation in arizona is terrible

I don't think I would do that. Thomas may not play much this weekend, but he's solid. I think the drop off with Bowe is a big one. I don't trust him at all.

I would do this. Mcfadden is a beast and is only getting better...who is going to take the ball out of his hands? no one. Bowe is the type of guy who will continue to get better acquainted with cassel as the year goes on so I would look for him to do well. Portis is alright but the upgrade is huge. Fitz has a terrible situation and it doesn't matter how good you are, when a QB can't get the ball to you, you won't do good. Look at Steve Smith's point total last week with clausen throwing to him. With a little work trading, you could trade for another good WR with all of those RB's

You would be getting more out of this deal than the other guy, so I would say go for it.

I do like Mcfadden over Portis and don't stress too much bout Fitz. He's probably gonna have more iffy games than solid games. It all falls on his QB who is struggling hard core.... It's accepted! So start feeling good bout it!
