12 team PPR league. My roster (byes):
QB - E Manning (8)
RB - A Peterson (4), A Foster (7), R Mathews (10), R Bush (10)
WR - R White (8), M Floyd (10), D Bowe (4), D Thomas (DEN) (9), S Holmes (7)
TE - A Hernandez (5)
DEF - NYJets (7)
K - R Gould (8)
I just dropped Tolbert to pick up Bush. It's not so much that I plan to use him as that I want as many assets as possible to use in trade scenarios this week. I could have snagged a TE for next week now (a few to choose from), but I can do that any time if I don't complete a deal that frees up a roster space (2-for-1, 3-for-2, whatever). My thought is that putting Bush into a deal in a PPR league carries more oomph than putting Mike Tolbert in a deal.
I want to package Mathews with Bowe/Thomas/Holmes to get an upgrade at WR if I can. Bush might make his way into the deal, and if he doesn't, there's a chance I can use him in week 7 when Foster is on his bye (week 7 is his targeted return date).
Does my thinking make sense here? WHIR, thanks!
