RB2 Decision - who starts? 100% WHIR!

Postby enasnidx » Sat Oct 02, 2010 1:57 pm

Stuck on RB 2 decision this week...I've got a bunch of lackluster RB2 options: T. Hightower, J. Kuhn, J. Stewart, L. Betts
Now the question is, who should i start in a 14 team PPR league? I'm thinking Hightower is the safest option to guarantee a few points, but Kuhn is playing against DET and Betts might get the start if Thomas is out this week. Thoughts?

I'd start Hightower. I know Wells figures into this alot but at the beginning of the season no one respected Hightower from a fantasy perspective and look what he has done. I think AZ will think about that often especially designing checkdown options close to the goal. He looks like the best in my opinion.

I dont see why the cardinals dont just invent their own form of the wildcat in a shotgun formation with beanie and hightower to each side of anderson hahaha. hightower will actually get more looks than people think because ARI will play from behind and hightower is a better receiver than beanie and a better RB to have in when youre playing catch up.

thanks for the help!

Thanks for the help on mine.

Start Hightower, but watch the wire Sunday to see if Pierre sits and if Betts gets a start. If Betts start, then I'd roll with him. Otherwise, go with Hightower. Kuhn and Stewart are dependent on goal line looks IMO...so, not the best thing in a PPR. Hightower should get some receptions, and if Betts starts, he should too.

HIGHTOWER..

He has produced this season but gets no love. With Breaston and Douchet both out, HT will get more receiving yards that rushing yards and a TD as well.

Please help me back at:

thanks for your help, you should go with Timmy .. he is your best option. He has so much more upside compared to everyone else, I am not sure what the Panthers are doing so I would stay away from JStew until they figure that out...Forget Kuhn and Betts...I don't buy into that start the guy that the coach says may get the bulk of the carries for a week. He is a back up or a practice squad player for a reason, coaching and scouting has gotten so good that those ridiculously good guys are weeded out fairly quickly. Hightower has the most potential, and he has started before and did pretty good at it so start him, no question.
