Thinking of benching Calvin... Am I crazy??? WHIR

So, my top 2 draft picks were Andre and Calvin Johnson. I put Andre on the DL so I can't use him this week even if he is active. I figured with the bum ankle and matching up with Nnamdi he probably wouldn't have a great game anyway. I'm also leaning towards benching Calvin against Woodson and the Packers. I can start 4 WR/TE's and I have:

Calvin Johnson
Vernon Davis
Hakeem Nicks
Jeremy Maclin
Lance Moore

Am I crazy for wanting to start Moore over Calvin? It's a PPR league and Moore has shown that he does much better when Reggie Bush is hurt. If you would start Calvin, who should I bench???

I would probably start the bottom 4 of your list. Moore will definitely be more involved with Bush out.

I dont think you are crazy at all. He is no longer the must start we thought he was.

On the season Calvin has---- 28 targets, 14 rec, 151 yards with a long of 21 and 1 TD.... Add that to the fact they play GB and hes lined up with Woodson.. NO thanks!

Apart from the matchup, consider how little he has done this year, and Shaun Hill really looked to be throwing scared over the last 2 weeks!! Roll with Moore today and wish for the best !

I would play Nicks over Moore. At least you know the Giants are going to have to pass cuz they are playing Chicago and the leagues best run D.

Definitely not crazy for considering benching him but I don't this is the week to do it. Especially if your next best option is Lance Moore. The Lions should be down pretty early so they will have to throw the ball to TRY to stay in the game. I think Calvin has the potential for a big game today even with Woodson on him and Hill as his QB. The Lions will look to force him the ball all day long.

I would start the top 4 on your list.

It's a tossup between Johnson and Nicks. Johnson is going up against GB w/no QB and Nicks is a break out only guy with a mediocre QB.
