Portis was the only one who managed to do anything against the Bears. He finished with 165 yards on 14 carries, earning his second straight 1,000-yard season in the process. He was walking gingerly in the locker room after the game because of a heel bruise, but the injury isn't considered serious.
Fantasy Spin: We're glad at least one Bronco showed up to play today. The Raiders are on deck next Sunday, and that looks promising for a large day from Portis, as long as the heel doesn't bother him.

Yeah, we also hope he can score a TD. The Broncos had 1st and goal from the 1, and instead of giving it to portis (who had led them down the field), they throw a 1 yd TD pass to Smith. What crap is that? Can't even reward the guy with a TD, even though he is the only one who showed up to play. I am getting sick of their play calling on the 1 yd. line. This is the 3rd or 4th TD he has lost this season from this yardage. Lets hope he comes back strong next week!!!
