I think the rule that we should refer to is "Don't start #3 or #4 receivers" not "Don't start rookies."

Boldin is a #1 on his team. Calico is #3 or #4 behind Mason, McCareins, and Bennett (when healthy).

but he was the red zone target until today apparently. I guess he dropped too many balls. He's gone from my team.
