MASSIVE trade worth it? WHIR

My Peterson, Gates, Floyd for his Chris Johnson, Jennings, Vernon Davis. Value wise it seems like I'm getting the better deal here but not sure. Peterson looks amazing while Johnson is inconsistent, Jennings isn't playing too well and Gates is playing amazing.

As far as your trade, what kind of league are you in? 6 or 4 for TDs? PPR or non PPR?

I have Davis and while he had a solid week this week, he has been invisible all year with Alex Smith being wildly inconstant. And as you said, Gates is pretty much the number 1 target, in an offense that likes to throw and has a very capable QB in Rivers...

I like Jennings, I think he will start coming around, so you get the advantage on that. Then you have Peterson VS Johnson. The sad truth is, FF aside, I'm not a Chris Johnson fan. I think with White gone to help take some wear and tear off, that Johnson is gonna slow down. Obviously he showed no signs of that earlier this season, but I think as the season wears on, he won't be the normal CJ we are used to. Peterson is the only thing going in Minnesota, the question there is: Can Farve actually rebound and start opening up the offense?

Anyhow, let me know about the formats I mentioned. If it's PPR, I would stay away from Davis and go with Gates. Overall though, I would say this trade potentially nets you the same production over a full season as the players your trading away. Just my opinion...

I wouldn't do this. I think peterson will be better than Johnson this year.gates is playing in beast mode and rivers only looks for him in the red zone. While Jennings Is an upgrade u lose to much

I wouldn't do it either. the only place you're really upgrading is with jennings and with the ball spread around so much in GB, I don't care for him that much

Thanks guys. Do you like a counter of Peterson, Floyd for Johnson, Jennings? How about Bowe, Gates for Jennings, Davis?

I would NOT make that trade if I were you. I have CJ and would take AP over him this year. Gates is by far the best TE in the league thus far and he's better than almost all the WR's in the league too. Jennings doesn't appear to be much if any better than Floyd this year so I consider them a wash. At best, as I see it, you down grade slightly at RB, MAJORLY at TE, all for at best a slight upgrade at WR. That's not worth it to me.
