12 team .33 ppr league looking some help at RB after losing grant for the season. I like smith but he hasn't been good and the KC pass offense doesn't look good, and barber is too reliant on td's. I like the upside best brings and he's clearly the man in det. We start qb 3 wr 2 rb flex te def k.
I give bowe smith(nyg) barber
I get best and manningham
What do you guys think??? Leave a link

If you can start 3 RBs, I might do this. You are giving up some depth at WR but you are getting decent RBs IMO. If not, I'd stand pat.

I'd do it, but I'd be really cautious of it because of AJ's ankle. If it lingers, you're down to your 4th WR as your #1. Even so, the upside is great.
Thanks for the help.

I think you'd be winning the trade due to upside but there are a couple things I'd be worried about.
One is your WR depth after the trade since you need to start three. I don't think you can rely on Manningham and Thomas is a risky WR3. You may need to make another move and continue to search the WW, especially if AJ misses more games.
The other is Best's toe injury. That's the type of injury that could linger or get aggravated and cause some big problems. It looks like he did alright in his first week after the injury but it does have some risk. I also think he is a little overvalued still due to all those TDs in the first 2 weeks.
I think in the end, I'd go with the RB and best player in the deal, so make the trade, but it could backfire for either of those 2 reasons.
