trade help: Mike Williams for McNabb-WHIR

12 team PPR keeper league-Auction Draft

My team:

QB-Schaub
RB-Chris Johnson
RB-Adrian Peterson
WR-Colston
WR-Braylon Edwards
WR-Eddie Royal
TE-Owen Daniels

Bench:
McNabb
Garcon
Reggie Bush
Sidney Rice
John Carlson
Kevin Walter
Kenneth Darby (picked up last week in case Jackson couldn't go, he will be dropped this week for either Devery Henderson or Davone Bess)

A couple of qualifiers here, this is an auction draft keeper league. I drafted C. Johnson his rookie season for $1 so I get to keep him for next to nothing, same for Schaub. This is how I got Peterson this year. Also, I took a gamble on Rice and drafted him for nothing, hoping he would come back strong and if so he could be kept next season for next to nothing.

I have been offered Mike Williams (TB) for McNabb. Im not sure Williams would be an upgrade at WR and I know he has been playing with an ankle issue. But Garcon has been out 2 weeks, Royal is so inconsistent, and Braylon is...well Braylon. Also, I am currently 0-4 so I have almost given up on this team.

Should I make the trade, or stick with what I have?

Thanks!

I think Williams will be better than Edwards going forward (when Holmes gets back). But how has Royal been inconsistent? He's been solid this year. Only one off week. Not many top WRs can say that. I would make the deal if you can't get anything better for McNabb

Thanks Hoosier, I think by incosistent I meant I played him on his down week and had him on the bench when he blew up, which is obviously his fault.
I am attempting to pick up Davone Bess in place of Darby, so Im trying to decide if I need Williams. But, like you said, Edwards may become useless once Holmes is back.

Any other thoughts out there?

Yeah, I think there might be other options available. Claim WW and just sit on this trade once WW ends then decide.
