WK5 RB Needed

Postby ams343 » Mon Oct 04, 2010 10:29 pm

I have Forsett and Mendenhall benched for WK5 and am in need of a one play replacement. My other challenge is my DEF. I have Minnesota and picked up Seattle last week thinking the Rams would present an easy opportunity for DEF points but even with Seattle's poor performance, they got me some points. Questions are:

1. Good RB to pick up? Of what I can see, my best options are: Betts, Bell, Brandon Jacobs, or Blount?
2. I need to make room on my roster for the fil in RB and am struggling with who to drop...Mike Sims-Walker, Seattle or Minnesota DEF? Seems obvious as I type this but SEA DEF seems to get a good amount of points, even on a bad week.

Thanks in advance.

Right now i would pick up mike bell or Jacobs seeing as both starting rb's are hurt, so you should monitor and see if theres any updates on that. I know McCoy has a fractured rib and bradshaw was seen with a limp, so right now ill lean towards bell. I would definately drop the seahawks D im just not to high on them :-)

Of the guys you have listed there I would go with Betts. It appears as tho Bradshaw is feeling good and wills start this week so I dont see Jacobs doing much.

As far as Betts goes I almost feel that Chris Ivory is the better fill in RB for New Orleans this week. (They will probably split carries evenly)

Also, have you checked to see if Ryan Torain is available?

I would drop the Seahawks D.

If Jacobs is still available and you haven't done it yet, pick him up, and if you dropped the SEA DEF, pick them up again for this week, they're playing Arizona (need I say more?)
