Over 1,000 yards 2 seasons in a row on a garbage team doesn't exactly "stink"

I agree, he stinks.

Two 1000+ yd seasons, 250 carries, 280 carries. The coaches gave him 1000 yds, not his talent. His YPA has never been above 4.1 for a season. He is "average" at best, and is on a team that is 25th in the league in rushing attempts. He's not fast so few big plays. You'll be lucky if they run him 15 times times a game, and you get 60 yds from the guy. He'll probably get a TD every other week. So, 6 pts one week, 12 pts the next. I don't consider him any better than a Flex player.

The GOOD news is he does reliably get positive yards. I'm thinking his upside is Cadillac last year, plus a couple more TDs.

Have you ever watched him run, he looks like Shrek. I bet he couldn't even outrun Detroit's secondary.

Yes I've watched him play VERY well for a Below average at best team...

It's funny how "Good" players get blamed for shitty coaching, and even worse offensive line play..

I don't care if you have Jim Brown power, and Barry Sanders moves, if your O-Line sucks...

I'm not gonna say, that M.Lynch will become a top 5 RB...
I will say, that in Seattle he has a MUCH improved situation, than he did during his stay in Buffalo...
Justin Forsett is a 3rd down/ change of pace type of RB this will work out well for Seattle...
M.Lynch will get 20+ touches a game, in a much better system, with a VERY good schedule comming up. Get on the Lynch bandwagon now, before it's too late..
RB's are becomming slimmer and slimmer as the year goes on..

But, doesn't Seattle's O-line suck just as much? I hope you're right, i had second thoughts after posting that. This is truly a 50/50 time will tell scenario. I think I'm esp down on him because I drafted him in '09 and he didn't do my team any good.

They've been bad since Walter Jones got injured in 2008, however keep in mind that Russell Okung has been out in the early part of the season (he came back week 4 but came back out due to soreness) and is expected to seriously help the O-line. Add in a zone blocking scheme that Lynch played in during his Cal years and I think there is reason for optimism.

I wouldn't hold Marshawn's Buffalo days against him. Most players do much better outside that system, which has been broken since Jim Kelly retired. But having said that, I don't expect Lynch to have a whole lot more value than Justin Forsett did. I hope I'm wrong though.
