Giving Jamaal Charles + Forte for Ray Rice...

Postby HaFish » Tue Oct 05, 2010 7:56 pm

I can't stand having Forte take up bench space. He's just a horrid running back. However, I don't want to drop him since he has the potential to do some damage against weaker teams, like Detroit. So, thinking about upgrading if possible.

QB: Rodgers
WR: White, Collie, Mike Wallace, Mark Clayton
RB: Turner, Hillis, LT, Charles, Forte
TE: Clark
K: Crosby
DEF/ST: Pittsburgh, Chicago

I think Turner will turn things around, Hillis looks like he's on steroids, I knew LT would take lead back status while watching preseason games and love what he's doing, Charles is an excellent back, Forte... nothing good to say right now.

The one downfall of Jamaal Charles is that he will not get feature back status because of how well T.Jones is fitting in.

Ray Rice is on a slump and slightly hurt... I feel like I can pry him out of an owners hands with this kind of an offer...

Any input would be highly appreciated. Thx!

I have Ray Rice and would not take Forte in that deal....to me Forte has already shown he can be a bust. Rice has had some rough matchups the first 4 weeks....so as a Rice owner it would take more than those 2 to make me give up Rice....

I would look to upgrade at WR by trading your Charles and Forte to someone who is weak at RB and strong at WR....
