12 team league, I'm 0-4

The league I'm in seems to be extremely competitive. Meaning there is absolutely no one on the waiver wire worth picking up. These guys hoard players. Torain is available in a bunch of my other leagues but this one, he was gone a while ago.

What type of strategy do you employ for a league like this?

Do I look into trading one of my stud RB or WR for two 2nd and 3rd tier players? Will I have any chance at winning with this type of strategy?

I have Fitzgerald, Maclin, McCoy (Bell already taken), Michael Turner and Eli Manning.

Should I look towards trading one or several of those for lesser valuable players?

dude I feel you on the record....I guarantee you have given up the most points in your league while only scoring a fair amount.....I am too 0-4 and have given up over 600 points so far!!! next closest is 515!!!

Overall your team is not that bad, although I don't think you are in a position to trade due to the value of Fitz right now and McCoy, Hillis and Turner are your best RB's....

Where were you looking to upgrade? you would be robbing peter to pay paul and i don't see much helping you.....

do me a favor and in your yahoo page for the WW click on the far right where it says fantasy points and it will arrange your waiver guys by total points for the year.....makes it easier to read....but I would look at dropping maybe Jenkins and Fred Taylor for one of the Buffalo backs and maybe Sims Walker or Jacoby Jones......

You obviously want to keep as many studs as possible but I don't think you have enough current value to just unload on one player or trying to go with your other strategy....

Will do once I get home. I dropped Sims Walker earlier today due to his production. I had him for since the beginning and haven't fared well. I'll look into picking him back up.
