Diamonds in the rough.

Most of you already know that every year there are a few players who become top 20 players in their positions. Players that usually go undrafted and rarely picked up untill they have breakout games, but usually these types of players show early signs of breakouts.
Im dont mean not players who are known but not expected to have breakout games, I mean the ones who rarely ever come to mind before week 1. Last year we had Sidney Rice, and Jammal Charles.

Peyton Hillis, and Ryan Torain already made their marks this year. So whos next?

Lets take a look at some of the possibles.

Kareem Huggins, and LaGarrette Blount.

Huggins has the explosive speed, vision and recieving ability, but lacks blocking. Hes not big, but neither was Warrick Dunn.

Blount is an obvious tuff yards back...both can be top 20 Backs this year.


Bradon Tate: Moss is traded, which in turn leaves double teams on welker

James Starks
Its obvious Jackson or kuhn are not the answer to the run game, and the packers want him back so badly. That says something right there.

Stephen Williams from arizona could be another one, but i doubt it.

Danny Woodhead we will see, but since moss i gone..this could mean more snaps for the little rocket

I picked up Woodhead and see him as a nice pickup considering he is RB/WR eligible. Putting him at WR3 might end up being more effective than Tate at WR3. I also picked up Blount over Huggins. While I see it being a timeshare, the role of Blount should offer more fantasy value than Huggins. We will find out about Starks soon. He could end up being a huge sleeper, maybe nothing. Surely is on my radar though.
