Both Steve Smith's for Marshall?

Postby ezenbrowntown » Wed Oct 06, 2010 3:33 pm

Through a series of trades through an initial waiver wire pickup, I've made some loot. I dropped Derrick Mason to pick up Witten. I traded Witten for Steve Smith (Carolina). I'm looking at trading a guy both Steve Smith's (NYG and Car) for Marshall. It's a PPR 10 team league. I've got the following wide receivers remaining:

Calvin Johnson, Santana Moss, Eddie Royal.

It looks like a fair trade to me, as the other guy is really hurting other starting wide outs. (Harvin, Housh, Lee Evans). Your thoughts?

I think its a good trade for you. Sadly Carolina is so bad this year that Smith doesn't have much value other than his history, so Marshall is an upgrade over him just because of his situation. And Nicks appears to be the guy in NY, so again I'd favor Marshall.

I'd definitely make that deal..makes you very strong at the WR position. If you can do it, by all means!
