McCoy/White/Knox for Stewart/D Jackson/Colston WHIR

Postby Hoosierdad » Wed Oct 06, 2010 6:46 pm

My team is in my sig. Still trying to do some trading. A team has been looking for a RB. I'm looking to upgrade WRs. What about this?

I give McCoy/White/Knox for Stewart/D. Jackson/Colston

RBs: I take a hit. I view Stewart as a bye week fill-in unless Williams gets hurt. But he's better than nothing.

WRs: On paper, Jackson/Colston win. So far, White/Knox wins. Would the difference between the 2 make up for the loss of McCoy?

I'd stay pat on this one. I firmly believe Roddy White will continue to be a top 3 WR this year, and I also don't like Jackson moving forward, especially with a now shaky QB situation. I see your upgrade in this trade at Knox v. Colston, and down on the other two. But I'm also a White owner so I could be biased!

Thanks for the help in mine.

I am 50/50 on this. I rather have Roddy White than any of the WR right now... That being said McCoy has cracked ribs and may not play. If you need the RB this week do it, otherwise I think I would keep your guys. Out of all the replies I have made this one I am really not sure about. Tough call.

I agree with the other posts above me, there's no way I would get rid of White, McCoy is hurt, but won't miss much time, and is a beast with Vick on the field, and both will probably be back on the field together.

That's a tough call. IMO, I'm not sure I could pull the trigger on that trade. I think the other gets the better deal.

Thanks for your help on mine.

I think your giving up the better 2 players in the deal with Mccoy and White. I say stay put unless you can get a better player than Colston

I dont think I'd make this trade. I love JStews ability but dont think he'll get onto the field much unless DWill gets hurt. I think even with Vick back that I like White better overall than DJax but it could be considered a push (although White will catch more balls and prob be more consistant than DJax.) Colston is a guy I purposely shied away from this year because it just seems that there are "too" many weapons in NO and Colston doesn't run the #1 WR routes despite being the supposed number 1 guy in NO. If you think Colston is gona return to fruition than I'd make this trade. But I personally think he's going to be to inconsistant and overlooked because of all of there weapons. Even with out PT or Bush, Colston only reeled in 4 passes for 36 yards and still doesn't have a TD this year.

Thanks for help on mine ;-D

My thoughts exactly. I don't think McCoy will be out too long.

In any deal, I like to get the best player...and in this deal, I think you're giving up the 2 best players...that being said, I wouldn't do it

thanks for the help with mine

let me know if you can help me with this one too:
